Arriving in Turkey
Visa requirements:
A valid passport is required for all international visitors. There is no entry or departure tax. The countries whose citizens are required to have a visa are: Austria, Belgium, Hungary, Italy, Netherlands, Portugal, Norway, Romania, The Russian Federation, Spain, and United Kingdom. A visa can be obtained from the nearest Turkish Embassy or consulate. If required, an invitation letter will be written by the Local Coordinator, Inci Doganer: inci.doganer@gmail.com
By plane: Izmir Adnan Menderes International Airport is receiving many direct international arrivals. Also arrivals from Istanbul Airport are expected for the meeting. By Ferry Boat: From Athens to Chios Island and then to Cesme.

Group Transfers Organized by the Committee
Since the venue of the meeting is quite far from the airport (90km) and public transportation is limited, the local organization committee will arrange special shuttles for group transfers just before and just after the meeting. We recommend you come on 24th-25th depart on 29th -30th of May. Otherwise an extra fee for transports may be required. The fee by group transfers is included in the registration fee. The groups will be 8-15 people. Prepare yourselves to wait for others to join the group. And it is very important that you inform the local organizing committee about your arrival and departure times and arrival ways as early as possible. And if you don’t arrive on your specified time, or if you don’t use the airport route for start it’s your responsibility to come to the venue of the meeting. And there will be no refund even if you don’t use the services of the organization. Please inform the local committee if you are not going to use Group Transfers options and/or you’ll participate in PMC.

A direct taxi drive to Alacati from Izmir city will be around 75-110 €. (0.85 €. /km) depending on the starting place. From Izmir City there are two Bus Terminals for Alacati Cesme. One is the Uckuyular Terminal and the other is the Intercity Bus Terminal (bus stand 141 for Cesme). You will receive a separate file in this letter describing all the routes and prices to Alacati and to Bergama printed in Turkish alphabet letters.
Guests’ invitation
One representative from Training Institutes or Accrediting Organizations who are applying for membership or has the intention to apply is welcome to our meeting as a guest. The guests should have the company of a FEPTO member to guide them during the meeting. Application fee is separate.
